The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a raw, remote alternative to Nepal’s more commercial routes. Circling Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world’s eighth-highest peak, this trek offers solitude, cultural depth, and a serious physical challenge.
The trail follows deep river gorges, suspension bridges, and isolated mountain villages before climbing into harsh alpine terrain. The crux of the trek is crossing Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) — a long, demanding day involving snowfields, moraine sections, and strong winds.
Due to its remoteness, limited infrastructure, and sustained altitude exposure, Manaslu Circuit demands strong preparation and resilience. It rewards trekkers with untouched landscapes and a sense of genuine exploration.
This trek is perfect for those seeking a less crowded, more demanding Himalayan circuit with big mountains and big moments.
