overview

The Kang Yatse II Expedition (6,250 m) is a high-altitude climb set in the dramatic landscapes of Ladakh’s Markha Valley. This peak offers a serious Himalayan experience with snow, glaciers, and long summit pushes — without extreme technical climbing.

After trekking through the iconic Markha Valley, climbers establish high camps in barren, wind-swept terrain. Summit day involves steep snow slopes, thin air, and prolonged exposure above 6,000 m. The final ascent demands stamina and mental discipline as oxygen levels drop sharply.

From the summit, climbers are rewarded with vast views across the Zanskar and Karakoram ranges. Kang Yatse II is ideal for climbers stepping up from trekking peaks and aiming to build confidence for more demanding expeditions.

Note: Prices mentioned are applicable for Indian passport holders. For foreign passport holders, the cost may vary. Please connect with the Boots & Crampons team for clarity.
Note: An indemnity document will be shared before the expedition. Signing it is mandatory.
