Also known as Kala Nag, Black Peak (6,387 m) is a serious high-altitude expedition set deep in the Garhwal Himalayas. This peak combines glacier travel, steep snow slopes, and long summit pushes, making it an excellent stepping stone toward larger Himalayan objectives.
The approach itself is demanding, with remote camps and extended days at altitude. Summit day involves snow and ice climbing, fixed ropes, and prolonged exposure above 6,000 m. Weather conditions can be harsh, adding to the expedition’s seriousness.
Black Peak is ideal for climbers looking to gain real expedition experience in a less commercial environment while preparing for higher and more technical climbs.
Note: Prices mentioned are applicable for Indian passport holders. For foreign passport holders, the cost may vary. Please connect with the Boots & Crampons team for clarity.
Note: An indemnity document will be shared before the expedition. Signing it is mandatory.
