SCHEDULE

MORNING SESSION:

9:00 – 9:45 AM: Introduction to Mountaineering Equipment

  • Overview of essential gear: harness, jumar, carabiners, ropes, belay devices, helmets, and crampons.
  • Proper usage, maintenance, and safety tips.

10:00 AM – 1:45 PM: Jumar Techniques

  • Demonstration: Ascending a fixed rope using a jumar.
  • Hands-on practice: Participants try jumaring under expert guidance.

Lunch Break: 1:45 – 2:30 PM

  • Enjoy a light meal while interacting with fellow adventurers.


AFTERNOON SESSION:

2:30 – 5:00 PM: Rappelling Skills

  • Demonstration: Safe rappelling techniques and controlling descent.
  • Hands-on practice: Participants rappel from a controlled height.

Bonus Activities (Ongoing throughout the day):

  • Knot-tying basics: Essential knots for climbing.
