overview

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek (4,130 m) offers one of the most dramatic mountain amphitheatres in the Himalayas. Surrounded by towering giants like Annapurna I, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli, this trek delivers constant visual impact from start to finish.

The trail moves through terraced villages, dense forests, and cascading waterfalls before opening into wide alpine valleys. As you approach base camp, the mountains close in, creating an overwhelming sense of scale and isolation. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp, standing at the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, is both humbling and exhilarating.

Though lower in altitude compared to Everest, ABC still demands fitness due to long walking days and repeated elevation gain. Cold mornings, steep climbs, and sustained trekking hours make preparation essential.

This trek is perfect for trekkers looking for big Himalayan scenery without extreme technical difficulty, offering an emotional and visually powerful mountain experience.

Note: Prices mentioned are applicable for Indian passport holders. For foreign passport holders, the cost may vary. Please connect with the Boots & Crampons team for clarity.
Note: An indemnity document will be shared before the trek. Signing it is mandatory.
