The Lobuche East Expedition (6,119 m) is a serious high-altitude climb that offers one of the most dramatic summit experiences in the Everest region. Known for its exposed summit ridge and technical snow sections, this peak pushes climbers beyond basic trekking-peak comfort zones.
After trekking through Everest Base Camp terrain, climbers move onto rocky ridges, glacial slopes, and snow-covered faces. Summit day is long and demanding — steep ascents, fixed ropes, cold winds, and extreme altitude require complete focus. The final ridge is narrow and exposed, delivering a high-adrenaline finish with breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the Khumbu Glacier.
Lobuche East is best suited for climbers who already have high-altitude trekking experience and want a more technical and committing 6000 m climb.
